David Walsh

Director & CEO | Global

David’s career is a tapestry woven together from experiences across the globe. He began his career with Black & Decker® / DeWalt® holding several key leadership roles in Australia, Asia, and North America.

After spending ten years with Black & Decker Inc. he joined The Stanley Works in Connecticut before finally joining Newell’s executive team, serving as the President of IRWIN® Industrial tools and later Rubbermaid®. It was then when David ventured out on his own and co-founded POPCAKE® Foodservice Products, where he served as president and CEO for the past 12 years.

POPCAKE® is now under the Peachtree Foods™ family of brands, where David serves as CEO. His breadth of experience across a variety of industries, and in several executive leadership roles, is propelling Peachtree to become the leading breakfast specialist company in the global commercial foodservice industry.

Dean Gagliardi

Director of Operations |Global

Dean’s career is a winding path, spanning nearly 30+ years and culminating in various leadership and management roles across the hospitality and foodservice industries. Now with Peachtree Foods™, Dean manages the company’s distributor marketing and global supply chain functions out of Hong Kong.

As an avid photographer and culinary connoisseur, Dean’s off-the-clock passions are fueled by Hong Kong’s beautiful landscapes and a food scene that are unlike anywhere else in the world.

 

Hans Neumann

Director | Global

Hans’ 30+ year career saw him hold a variety of positions throughout the hospitality and foodservice industry—from working in established businesses to managing start-ups. As Peachtree Foods™ Sales and Technical Support Officer, Hans oversees the global POPCAKE® distributor network and is a founding member of POPCAKE® Foodservice Products.

Now residing in Byron Bay, NSW, Hans is an avid sailor and has competed in several Sydney-to-Hobart blue ocean races—widely regarded as Australia’s foremost offshore sailing challenge.

Marek Szymanski

Director | Global

Marek’s background of over 15 years in automation and robotics engineering led him to join the team as our Chief Technology Officer. After inventing the POPCAKE® machine and co-founding POPCAKE® Foodservice Products he is now an important part of Peachtree Foods™ organization.

Originally from Poland, Marek now lives in Sydney, Australia, where he enjoys the pace of life, which, for him, is fast. He spends his weekends traversing the country at high speed by boat, car or by motorcycle.

 

Melissa Sperryn

Managing Director | UK & Ireland

Melissa began her career as a part of the travel and tourism industry in her home country of Australia. After honing her skills, she moved to the UK to join internationally-renowned Taste Festivals as a senior marketing executive. She spent seven years managing high-profile sponsorship deliverables for clients, including British Airways, San Pellegrino, Laurent-Perrier, and Waitrose. Following this, she then went on to established an innovative event space with on-site bar and cafe operations in the heart of Shoreditch, London.

Melissa’s unique perspective and sharp insights make her the ideal leader for the company’s UK operations.
